PREPARATION BONUS
"What Is A Whole, Plant Food?" Mini Lesson
Even if you understand what a whole plant food is, I still encourage you to watch this video. I'm confident you'll learn something new.
This video covers the bare basics, but it's also the foundation for everything we're learning in the course. So, it's essential that you understand it completely. Don't worry, we'll review this info in the course too, but this video will help you be an expert.
You can also use the "List of the Plant Foods" download below the video to identify new foods to incorporate into your diet at any point. If you start eating the same meals all the time and need something new, this is one place you can turn for inspiration. The options are endless!
Once you're done watching the mini-lesson, it's time for homework, aka "Superstar Missions" to help you implement this information and start to build healthier habits right away.
Super Star Missions
1. Download the "List of the Plant Foods" by clicking here.
It's a list of the wide array of plant foods in each group. While reading it, highlight foods you already know you enjoy in one color, and highlight foods you’d like to try in a different color.
2. Identify and taste 2 new plant foods from the list this week.
How will you prepare them? Your new plant food could be made and eaten individually and alone, or as part of a larger dish.
