SUPERSTAR MISSIONS
LESSON ONE - Restaurant tips and menu practice
1. Practice ordering a plant-based menu item at two RESTAURANTs.
Call at least two restaurants this week and ask if they can make you an oil-free and vegan dish. Look at the menus before you call and have a few ideas of what you think they could do for you ready before calling.
You don’t have to actually buy anything or go to a restaurant, just call using the restaurant script below to ask if they can accommodate your new healthy, dietary needs.
2. RESTAURANT HUNTING
Find at least 2 new restaurants that both you and your spouse would enjoy eating at together, that has at least one plant-based item you’d enjoy eating. Once you think you’ve found them, share them with your spouse for their input. Share why it’s important for you to go to restaurants where you can eat something while still meeting their concern of them having something they like too.
LESSON two - dinner parties & family functions, travel & flying tips
1. GETTING SOCIAL SUPPORT
Tell 3 people close to you how and why you’re changing your diet. Specifically, explain what you're eating and what you’re avoiding. This way, they can support you in your efforts, especially when you’re eating together.
