SUPERSTAR MISSIONS - LESSON THREE

1. MAKE YOUR MEAL PLAN FOR NEXT WEEK

Follow the instructions provided throughout the worksheets.

2. PREPARE FOR YOUR “NO SUGAR CHALLENGE”

The most important part of prepping for this challenge, is preparing a few daily desserts you can turn to so when your sweet tooth starts calling your name, you'll be prepared.  Ensure you have ingredients always stocked in your house for daily desserts and that tempting treats are no longer in your house.  If they are, you'll eat them.  What's you plan for when you encounter sweets that you want to avoid during the challenge?  Talk about your plan with Trish.

Here’s what the “No Sugar Challenge: goals are for next week, just so you can better be prepared...

Option One:

  1. Refrain from all types of sweeteners that contain empty calories including honey, maple syrup, agave etc. in addition to sugar, and high-fructose syrup etc. for three weeks in a row.

  2. Avoid all treats for three weeks in row and each daily desserts instead.

  3. Avoid soda, sweet tea and drinking juices.

Option two:

  1. Refrain from sugar and products that have sugar and the same sweeteners listed above, but use honey, maple syrup and agave only when you're adding them yourself to whole, plant foods (option one would omit this).

  2. Avoid treats that have sugar or animal products, but allow for treats outside of the house that are vegan but use honey, maple syrup or agave syrup only.

  3. Avoid soda, sweet tea and drinking juices.
