SUPERSTAR MISSIONS

LESSON TWO - meal examples

1. SANITIZE YOUR HOME KITCHEN AND OFFICE & STOCK UP ON HEALTHY ESSENTIALS FROM THE GROCERY STORE

This means, getting all of the non plant-based and tempting foods out of your house and office AND stock up on whole, plant foods to eat instead.  To do this, go to the grocery store and begin stocking up on the essentials we discussed in this module.  Download this Grocery Essentials worksheet, which lists my recommended products to always have in your house, to help you.

2. WRITE YOUR "ADVANTAGES LIST" AND EMAIL IT TO TRISH BEFORE YOUR SECOND SESSION. YOU'LL BE REVIEWING IT TOGETHER.

Once you complete your personalized eating plan with Trisha look out for your "Advantages List" and the instructions sent by Kate. This will be in your “Your Eating Plan and HW is here!” email. Click your “Advantages List assignment” link in step 2. This should take around 10 minutes to complete.  Don't skip this!

LESSON FOUR - how to make two five-minute breakfasts

1. COMPLETE THIS "EASY BREAKFAST OPTIONS" EXERCISE & EAT A PLANT-BASED BREAKFAST EVERY DAY THIS WEEK

The "Easy Breakfast Options" exercise will help you eat a plant-based breakfast everyday this week.  Also, you can use the breakfasts listed in the "Recipe Packet" or find breakfasts from one of the cookbook or recipe websites I recommended in my "Plant-Based Nutrition Resource Guide."

2. SAUTE AN ONION WITHOUT OIL, USING VEGETABLE STOCK INSTEAD. THEN, TASTE IT!

LESSON FIVE - recipe research, altering, meal planning and prep 101

1. Make your meal plan FOR NEXT WEEK'S 4 WEEK "DIET IMPLEMENTATION CHALLENGE.

Follow the instructions provided throughout the worksheets.

2. PRACTICE TWO MEAL PREPPING TECHNIQUES this week

Choose any two techniques from Lesson Four in the module to practice this week so you're more prepared for your Implementation Challenge.

3. COOK TWO NEW PLANT-BASED DINNERS THIS WEEK

It's important you have a few dinners under your belt you'll know you enjoy during your Implementation Challenge.  Use this week to cook two dinners from your meal plan.  This way, they'll be easier to cook next week.  And, you'll better know if and how much you like them in case you need to make any alterations.

4. Download and use this Recipe Tracker worksheet.

Here’s how it can help you…

Once you've made a new recipe, make a quick note on the recipe saying if you liked it or not AND in what type of situation it'd be good to cook or serve in again.

For example, is it "quick", does it take less than "30 minutes to cook", would it be "good to share with omnivores" or should you "NEVER make this again" because it was awful?

Otherwise, if you don't make a note, there's a good chance you'll forget!
